The Syrian opposition has officially declared the failure of negotiations with Iran to reach a ceasefire in Zabadani city in Rif Dimashq and the towns of Foaa and Kafaria in Rif Idlib.
Air force jets have targeted Zabadani city following the collapse of the talks, activists said Saturday, according to Sky News.
The Ahrar al Sham movement had started a second round of negotiations with Iran in a bid to reach an agreement to stop a campaign conducted by the Syrian army and Lebanon's Hezbollah in Zabadani, while rebels lay down their arms in Kafaria and Foaa in Rif Idlib.
