"Chairman of 'Ennahdha' Movement Rached Ghannouchi paid a three-day visit to Algeria, at the end of which he conferred with Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika," said Mr. Samir Dilou, member of the Movement's Executive Committee. Mr. Dilou, who was art of the delegation accompanying Mr. Ghannouchi, said the meeting between Messrs. Rached Ghannouchi and President Abdelaziz Bouteflika mainly focused on developments in the region, particularly in Tunisia, Algeria and Libya, emphasising, in this regard, common will to strengthen the Tunisian-Algerian relations. Mr. Ghannouchi and the delegation escorting him had a set of meetings with officials and party representatives, including the Algerian Prime Minister, the Speaker of the National Council and chairmen of the National Liberation Front and "Society's Movement for Peace" parties.
