Chairman of the Bar congratulates the President of the Republic

Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki received, on Monday after afternoon at the Carthage Palace, Mr. Abderrazak Kilani, Chairman of the Bar, who said he had congratulated Mr. Marzouki on behalf of all lawyers, for his election to the Presidency of the Republic. Solicitor Kilani said he had presented to the Head of State with an exposé on the situation of the Bar, notably in the context of the new law ruling the profession, as well as on the training programme devised by the Bar Council in favour of lawyers. "I expressed during the talk," he added, "readiness of the lawyers to contribute to the success of the country's democratic process and to carry on regular consultations, in the service of the homeland."
