Chief of Staff Major-General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa today paid an inspection visit to one of the units of the Bahrain Defence force (BDF) where he was welcomed by its Commander and senior officers. The Chief of Staff was informed about its preparedness, daily work, as well as military, administrative and technical development and training programmes, stressing the importance of enhancing complementarity between all BDF units in order to be able to perform their national duties properly. Shaikh Daij affirmed that BDF will carry on its military development plans, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, adding that BDF's achievements in all fields have been widely praised, which, he said, will consolidate the success of the national march during HM the King's glorious era. He also hailed the unit's affiliates' high morale and dedication in the service of the homeland, commending the constant efforts of BDF personnel to upgrade their combat readiness and readiness to defend the nation.
