China condemns Bahrain attacks, calls for dialogue

China supports the positive measures taken by the Bahraini government to maintain its national stability and development, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hong Lei told a press conference on Thursday. Hong’s remarks came in the wake of the recent bomb attacks that struck the Bahraini capital of Manama earlier on Monday. “China condemns the recent bomb attacks in Manama which inflicted casualties.” “We hope all parties in Bahrain will continue to properly address disputes through dialogue and other peaceful means so as to realize long-term development and stability of the country,” Hong said.
