China's top political advisor Jia Qinglin arrived here on Thursday for a four-day visit to the Netherlands. In recent years, the bilateral relations between China and the Netherlands has maintained a sound momentum under concerted efforts of both sides, Jia, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), said in a written statement upon arrival. Bilateral cooperation in politics, economy, trade and culture has achieved fruitful results, brought tangible benefits to the two peoples and made positive contribution to the overall development of bilateral ties between China and Europe, he said. China regards the Netherlands as an important cooperation partner, Jia said. The Netherlands is the second stop after Greece of Jia's three-nation European tour, which will also take him to Germany.
