The State Council has invited the public to make suggestions on cleaning up outdated documents issued by the cabinet.
Between June 16 and 25, people can visit the official website of the central government, or special pages on some major web portals, to make suggestions on official documents. The State Council will weight such suggestions or opinions as important reference points.
At the beginning of this year, the State Council began going over and updating old documents from the past three years. The work is aimed to make the State Council's regulations more adaptable to the socialist market system and accelerate the transformation of government functions in a bid to safeguard the people's interests.
The documents concern topics including environment protection, education, health, food safety, social security, employment and others.
