Visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pasquale Valentini, San Marino's minister for foreign affairs, agreed here Monday to push forward bilateral ties. During the meeting both foreign ministers agreed to continue to enhance friendly cooperation between the two countries based on mutual respect. They agreed to expand areas of China-San Marino mutually-beneficial cooperation, continue to upgrade their two-way trade structure and increase mutual investment. China and San Marino support the small-and-medium-sized enterprises from both countries to carry out cooperation, they said. Both foreign ministers pledged to enhance cooperation on tourism and people-to-people exchanges, and work to strengthen coordination in such international arenas as the United Nations.
