Deputy Premier, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, received today at his office today Mr. Tsu-Pu, member of the Chinese Communist Party's central committee and deputy secretary of the Chinese Communist Party in the pre-dominantly Muslim autonomous Chinese region of Ningxia, in the presence of the friendly People's Republic of China's Ambassador in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Li Xin. The Deputy Premier welcomed the visiting Chinese delegation and wished them a nice sojourn in the Kingdom of Bahrain, praising excellent bilateral cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Chinese People's Republic and explored ways and means to boost existing relations and develop these relations in various fields. His Highness pointed out that the Kingdom of Bahrain is keen on viewing the economic experience of the Muslim Chinese region of Ningxia and to benefit from its experience in investments and trade and at the same praised the remarkable economic and development accomplishments in Ningxia region over the past years. On the other hand, the chairman and members of the visiting Chinese delegation thanked His Highness the Deputy Premier for his interest and praised the Kingdom of Bahrain's growth, progress and economic development, asserting interest on the part of the Chinese People's Republic in boosting bilateral friendship and cooperation relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, and lauded the Kingdom of Bahrain's steps in boosting progress of its economic and political development in line with the reformative project initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
