Chinese, South Korean presidents to meet in Beijing

South Korean President Lee Myung Bak was to visit Beijing next week to meet with his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao, it was officially announced here today. The discussions were expected to focus on stability on the Korean Peninsula in the wake of the death of North Korean leader Kim Jong Il, the president's office was quoted as saying by the South Korean Yonhap News Agency. Lee's three-day visit was to start next Monday.
