Chinese state councilor meets Swiss guests

State Councilor Liu Yandong on Thursday met with a delegation from Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, a Swiss hotel management school, headed by Marco Torriani, the school's board chairman. Liu praised the results of cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Switzerland during their meeting. She also gave positive comments regarding the school's education methods. Liu said the Chinese government attaches great importance to higher vocational education and hopes to cooperate with renowned Swiss universities in order to promote cultural cooperation between the two countries.
