Kataeb Central Committee Coordinator, Deputy Sami Gemayel, confirmed Monday that Christians in Syria, Egypt and Iraq are in urgent need for guarantees from democratic diversified regimes and not from dictator ones doomed to annihilation for hampering people's development. The Deputy's words came during a lecture he gave in the "generations at the service of Lebanon" conference held at the Palace of Conferences in Dbayeh, organized by the Kataeb Metn division.Gemayel called on the rebellions to utter aloud their demands and projects, assuring that dictators failed over the years to protect the people."States are build based on three fundamental principles which are democracy, freedom and respect of diversity and human rights," Gemayel noted, deeming necessary to protect not only the Christians but also all the Arab people, and calling on the international community to guarantee minorities' rights by all means.
