US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton expressed hope that the United States would soon resolve a dispute with Egypt on the trial of US citizens and other foreign workers on the nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) case. Clinton told reporters after a Group of 20 conference in Mexico that the United States is deeply concerned over this situation, adding that the US sent a senior team to Cairo in recent days trying to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Clinton's comments come as the Republican Senator John McCain, Chairman of the International Republican Institute which is a civil organizations involved in the NGO case, is on a visit to Cairo where he met with Head of Egypt's Ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi.
