President of the Republic of Colombia Juan Manuel Santos met last night with the United Arab Emirates Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, currently visiting Colombia. During the meeting, they discussed ways of developing relations between the two countries in various fields, especially in the economic and cultural fields. The UAE Foreign Minister stressed the active role of Colombia in developing the relations between the GCC countries and the Latin American countries. He pointed out that that development which is taking place in Colombia would open the door to many investment opportunities. During the visit, the UAE Foreign Minister also met with his Colombian counterpart Maria Angela Holguin Cuellar and discussed bilateral relations
