
A "Coordination Meeting on Syria" took place in the Turkish capital of Ankara on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay. Besir Atalay underlined that the "Coordination Meeting on Syria" took place every two weeks in order to evaluate the present situation of the camps where Syrians stay in Turkey in the speech he delivered at the opening. "The number of Syrians staying in Turkish camps, tent cities and containers are 198,818. There are over 100,000 Syrians staying in Turkey outside the camps in cities," Atalay noted. "Coordination for Syrians staying in Turkey are good," Atalay said adding that they were doing all they could to support the Syrians in Turkey. "We are successfully managing many services including the education needs of children and treatment of the ill and wounded," Atalay emphasized.
