The criminal case was opened over the attempt on the life of a prosecutor of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office in a road accident in Moscow. A Mercedes driver has made a dangerous manoeuvre, triggering a road accident with a Hyundai car at 10, Teply Stan Street on Sunday evening, spokesman for the Main Investigation Department of the Russian Investigation Committee in Moscow Sergei Stukalov told Itar-Tass. A female employee of the Moscow Prosecutor’s Office was driving the Hyundai car and her husband – a prosecutor of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office in the Central Federal District was also in the car. “The Mercedes driver sustained no less than two knife wounds in the body and the face of the Hyundai passenger and escaped from the crime scene. The injured party was brought to the hospital, where he is taking an intensive therapy course,” the spokesman said. The criminal case was opened under Article 30 Part 3 and Article 105 Part 1 of the Russian Criminal Code for attempted murder. The investigation in the crime continues. The search for the criminal continues.
