
Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, was awarded an honorary doctorate of rights by Waseda University here today, in recognition of his outstanding contributions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the world. Upon arrival at the university, Crown Prince Salman was received by Waseda University President Dr. Kaoru Kamata and a number of the university's officials. At the outset of the honorary doctorate awarding ceremony, Dr. Kamata delivered a speech in which he said that Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is known for his political wisdom, rich knowledge and great achievements which have contributed to the development of Saudi Arabia at international and local levels. He also said that the Crown Prince was granted many medals and honorary doctorates in recognition of his efforts in relieving the poor and victims of natural disasters in different parts of the world.
