Custodian of the 2 holy mosques receives emir of Kuwait, emir of Qatar

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his palace here today Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait and Emir Sheikh Tammem bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani of Qatar. At the outset of the audience, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques welcomed the Emir of Kuwait and Emir of Qatar in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Then, the leaders discussed a number of issues in the interest of the three countries and the march of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in addition to the aspects of cooperation among GCC Member States and ways of enhancing them in all fields. They also discussed the latest developments and events at regional and international arenas and the three countries' stance towards them. The audience was attended by Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense; Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier, Advisor to and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Meteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard; Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region; and a number of princes and ministers. The audience was also attended by Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah; Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attyiah and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Thani.
