
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held here on Friday a session of talks with Chairman of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China Zhang Dejiang, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques delivered a speech in which he said that his visit to China came within efforts exerted by our two countries to reflect the joint desire in order to build strategic partnership aiming to develop relations between the two countries. "We highly appreciated China's positive stances towards the peace issues, particularly he Palestinian cause," the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said.
The Saudi King appreciated the role played by the National People's Congress of China in enhancing relations between the two countries, looking forward to further cooperation between the National People's Congress of China and Majlis Al-Shura serving the two countries and people.
For his part, the Chairman of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China has lauded the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' visit to China, hailing agreements signed by the two sides during the visit. He stressed that these agreements reflect the two countries' keenness to develop and enhance relations in various fields.
He also highlighted the status of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques at the Islamic and international arenas due to his great efforts at all levels.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also launched here today King Abdulaziz Public Library at Beijing University and received the honorary doctorate from Beijing University, according to SPA.
