Damascus car bomb kills injures many

A "large number" of civilians were killed and injured on Thursday when a powerful car bomb exploded near the headquarters of Syria's ruling Baath party in central Damascus, official media reported. "The terrorist explosion killed and wounded a large number of civilians," the SANA news agency said.
