Death toll cimbs to 14 in Karachi volence

Firing incidents in various areas of Karachi have claimed 14 lives during the last 24 hours. Four out of five victims of firing incident, occurred in Banaras, succumbed to their injuries on late Friday, Pakistan's (Geo News) quoted hospital sources as saying. The incident of firing took place on Banaras bridge where unidentified armed men opened fire at a bike and a car, resultantly five people got critical injuries. Later, four victims died during medical treatment. The latest incident took place in Orangi Town, where a body of 40-year-old Salahuddin was found, according to police. Following the incidents of firing, MQM Rabita Committee has announced to observe day of mourning on Saturday. After the Banaras firing incident, the situation got tensed across the city as one more person gunned down in Orangi. In UP Mor, unidentified armed men opened fire at a coach, killing driver. In Defence Phase II, unidentified armed men opened fire at a car at petrol pump, resultantly driver Zohaib lost his life while another sustained injuries.
