Death toll rises to 11 in Istanbul bomb attack

The death toll of the bomb attack that hit Turkey's Istanbul earlier on Tuesday climbed to 11, along with 36 injured.
Seven police officers and four civilians lost their lives in an early morning explosion in Istanbul's Beyazit area Tuesday, the Anadolu news agency quoted Istanbul Governor Vasip Sahin as saying.
A number of gunshots were reportedly heard after the blast.
Police have evacuated premises near the scene of the blast and the injured have been taken to nearby hospitals.
