Defence min. meets US Congress delegation
Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi

Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi met on Sunday with a US Congress delegation led by head of subcommittee of Europe, Eurasia, and Emerging Threats Dana Rohrabacher.
The meeting tackled issues of mutual concern, the latest developments in the region and regional and international efforts aiming to dry the sources of terrorism.
Meanwhile, members of the US delegation hailed Egypt’s efforts to combat terrorism and extremism as well as maintaining stability in the Middle East.
They asserted their country’s keenness to boost relations with Egypt in all fields.
A number of army commanders also attended the meeting.
