Delegation of majlis al-shura meets with deputy speaker of russian senate

A delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Majlis Al-Shura has held a meeting with Ilyas Umakhanov, Deputy Speaker of Russian Senate, with presence of Saudi ambassador to Russia Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Rasi and a number of members of the Russian Senate.
Dr. Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Daood, chairman of Majlis Al-Shura's delegation, has lauded an invitation from the Russian Senate.
For his part, the Deputy Speaker of Russian Senate stressed importance of the Saudi-Russian relations, pointing out that the meetings between Majlis Al-Shura and the Russian Senate are a part of convergence supported by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Russian President Vladimir Putin in the interest of the two friendly countries and global peace.
