The Egyptian-European Business Council (EEBC) announced its rejection of the US Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) law in solidarity with Saudi Arabia.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the council said that this law contradicts with the United Nations' pact and the international laws pertaining to the equal sovereignty of UN member countries according to the second article of the UN pact.
The EEBC, under its head Mohamed Abul Einien, urged the world countries to refuse this law and back Saudi Arabia, stressing that the UN should also reject this law and issue a resolution condemning it.
