
Egypt's Ambassador here Badr Abdel Aati has held meetings with heads of German travel agencies and representatives of tourism newspapers to discuss pros of Berlin's decision to lift restrictions on flights to the Egyptian Red Sea resort city of Sharm el Sheikh.
German airlines will sure benefit from the resumption of flights to South Sinai, Abdel Aati said, noting that they will be able to organize direct flights to all airports in the governorate, atop of which Sharm el Sheikh and Saint Catherine.
He also posted them on positive developments regarding security measures at Egyptian airports and tourist attractions.
The Egyptian government is committed to providing the highest security levels for tourists visiting Egypt, Abdel Aati assured.
The diplomat also listened to their views to increase the flow of German tourists to Egypt.
