Egypt army kills 4 militants in checkpoint clashes

Egyptian army forces killed four militants in an exchange of fire following an attack on an army-backed police checkpoint in eastern Ismalia Governorate. A military source told the state news agency (MENA) that the army and police forces confiscated the car used by militants in the attack as well as two machineguns and an amount of live ammunition founded in it. The military source also revealed that armed forces have arrested six people suspected of being involved a recent deadly attack on army convoy which left one officer and one soldier killed and two other soldiers injured.
