
Egypt and Belarus discussed ways of boosting bilateral relations and setting up a number of joint projects, especially in the health care and pharmaceutical domains.
Belarussian Ambassador here Sergei Rachkov told MENA Thursday that he discussed with Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Ehab Nasr future relations between the two countries with an emphasis on trade and industry domains.
Talks covered setting up joint projects in the new economic zones in Egypt, especially the Suez Canal, he added.
Rachkov lauded steps taken by Egyptian authorities to achieve political and economic stability and regain the country's role at the regional and international levels.
