
The Foreign Ministry has briefed European ambassadors accredited in Cairo on the latest terror threats and operations Egypt has experienced in coincidence with the second anniversary of June 30 Revolution.
Assistant Foreign Minister For European Affairs Hatem Seifel-Nasr has met with the ambassadors as part of the diplomatic move to explain the latest terror operations that took place in Egypt on the second anniversary of the revolution.
The ambassador said that the latest terror operations in North Sinai which coincided with the second anniversary of the June 30 Revolution and some statements issued by the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group speak of the fact that the Egyptians took the right decision to revolt against the terror group.
The MB group is the source of reference to the terror groups that are based on assassination and crimes, he pointed out.
"Egypt is performing its duty in the war on terror," he said, adding that Cairo needs support of the world.
The conferees stood a minute of silence at the beginning of the meeting for the martyrs of Egypt in its war against terror.
