Egypt: Constitution will guarantee religion freedom

Egypt's new constitution will guarantee freedom of religion for all, Foreign Minister Kamel Amr said at a joint news conference with his Italian counterpart Giulio Terzi on Thursday. ''Christian Egyptians are Egyptians who have always lived next to the others,'' said Amr. ''The new constitution will guarantee freedom of religion. The only criteria is citizenship.''
