
Ivorian Ambassador in Cairo Eugene Allou-Allou asserted the deeply-rooted relations between Egypt and Côte d'Ivoire.
This came during a celebration held in the Ivorian Embassy in Cairo on the occasion of marking Côte d'Ivoire Independence Day.
The celebration was attended by a number of African and European ambassadors and various media figures.
The diplomat also pointed out that the Ivorian president has recently greeted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and all Egyptians on the occasion of the opening of the new Suez Canal project.
Allou-Allou also underlined the importance of boosting the bilateral relations, especially in the economic field. He said that Egyptian businessmen are invited to invest in a developing country like Côte d'Ivoire.
