The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that is had sent an urgent missive to the Syrian authorities demanding clarification of the circumstances which led to the killing of three Egyptians in Aleppo and Homs during clashes with Syrian forces. The Foreign Ministry Spokesman Amr Rushdie said the charge d'affaires in Damascus, Advisor Alaa Abdulaziz, sent the urgent missive to the Syrian authorities. The spokesman added the missive included a request an investigation be conducted into the incidents and the information "said to be received about the three victims", especially regarding the authorities' claim one of the three was leading an armed group in Aleppo.
