Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Hatem Seif el-Nasr held a series of meetings with EU diplomats on Sunday. Seif el-Nasr had a meeting with Hungary's ambassadors to 22 countries on the occasion of holding the annual meeting of Hungarian ambassadors. The meeting took up Europe's position in Egypt's new foreign policy as well as the developments in Syria, the Middle East peace process and Egypt's relationship with Iran and Turkey. The Egyptian official also met with visiting Czech Deputy Foreign Minister Tomas Dub for talks on means of boosting bilateral relations and a host of regional and international issues of common interest. He also met with German Foreign Minister Representative for the Arab World Volkmar Wenzel on promoting joint relations and the developments in Syria.
