Egypt keen to transfer economic, investment expertise to Libya

Investment Minister Osama Saleh said Thursday Egypt was keen on transferring its experience and best practices in the domains of economy and investments to Libya to encourage knowledge sharing.The minister made the remarks in a closing session with trainees from Libyan investment authority who attend a special course in Cairo.Cairo exerts efforts to create an attractive climate for investments from across the Arab world, Saleh said.The minister briefed the participants on latest developments of challenges that faced the Egyptian government during the past few months.The government developed a comprehensive plan to boost economy after the June 30 revolution.The trio-axe plan included a strategy to handle the urgent needs of the Egyptian citizens as utility breakdowns. It also embraced long term strategies to provide economic stimulus packages and legislative infrastructure.The minister reiterated his belief it was necessary to reinstate Libyan investments in Egypt after long time of turmoil in the two neighbor countries.
