Egypt and Libya inked on Wednesday a military cooperation agreement in presence of Egyptian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Sedki Sobhi and his Libyan counterpart Yousef al-Mangoush. Under the agreement, Egypt and Libya will consolidate military cooperation in the fields of training and exchanging expertise. Speaking to reporters following signing the agreement, Egyptian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Sedki Sobhi said Egypt's Armed Forces would exchange expertise with to the Libyan Army. Sobhi said his visit aims at setting stage for cooperation with regard to securing the territorial waters between the two countries. Sobhi arrived on Tuesday in Tripoli on a two-day visit to Libya to discuss means of boosting military cooperation.
