Foreign Minister Mohammad Amr said Tuesday Egypt was following with great concern the "dangerous deterioration" of the situation in Syria, and voiced fear that the condition in Syria would reach the point of no return. Amr, in remarks to reporters, called for implementation of reforms in Syria to avoid further risks. He asserted that rapid action was required to savlage the situation. Amr said an immediate cessation of hostilities should take place and to start confidence building in order to pave way for a comprehensive national dialogue. Meanwhile, Amr will embark on a tour to Turkey and Germany tomorrow, part of Egypt's consultations with countries around the world vis-a-vis the conditions in the region.
