International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr signed a memo of understanding for the establishment of a number of agricultural and animal and fish production projects in South Sinai.
The memo was signed with the Social Fund for Development (SFD), Misr El Kheir Foundation and South Sinai governorate on the sidelines of the “Africa 2016” forum in Sharm El Sheikh on Sunday.
The SFD will offer direct funding to youths to establish small projects for animal production and will also fund six consecutive training courses for the youths to be nominated by Misr El Kheir.
Nasr said the initiative is just a first step in fulfilling the demands she had received during a visit of the Sinai Peninsula last month.
