
Egypt took part in a meeting to coordinate aid to the Palestinians that was held in the Belgium capital of Brussels on Tuesday.
The Egyptian delegation to the meeting was led by Ambassador Osama el Magdoub, assistant foreign minister for neighbors' affairs.
The meeting was attended by Norwegian Foreign Minister Borge Brende, EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini and Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah as well as representatives of the donor countries, international finance organizations and the United Nations.
The Egyptian diplomat highlighted his country's efforts to support the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the inter-Palestinian reconciliation.
He also noted the material support provided by Egypt for the Gazans, including the supply of electricity.
