A UK senior security delegations arrived Thursday to Egypt to take part in discussions on terror threats against both countries from Sinai, Libya, Iraq, and Syria.
The British delegation grouped high-level terrorism experts, the British embassy in Cairo said in statement.
Commenting on the visit, British ambassador to Egypt John Casson said the Egyptian-British security dialogue was deemed a new initiative of London and Cairo for boosting pragmatic cooperation, aiming at inflicting defeats to mutual enemies.
The British envoy underscored that defeating the Daesh terror group should be done through concerted international efforts, not to be left for only separate nations.
