
Egyptian Ambassador in Kampala Mai Taha Khalil conveyed greetings of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the Egyptian community in Uganda on the Christmas and New Year.
During a meeting with key figures of the Egyptian community in Uganda, Khalil reviewed the outcome of Sisi's successful visit to the African State on December 18, the embassy's media office said in a statement on Friday.
During Sisi's visit, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni pledged to support Egyptian businessmen and encourage Egyptian investments in his country, referring to the good reputation of Egyptian projects in various domains.
The ambassador also reviewed the embassy's strenuous efforts to solve problems of Egyptian expats in Uganda.
