
Egyptian Ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina Yasser el Attawi has conferred with Bosnian Parliament Speaker Sefik Dzaferovic on means of bolstering relations in all fields, especially the parliamentary, economic and tourism ones.
A statement released by the Foreign Ministry on Monday said the Egyptian diplomat briefed the Bosnian speaker on current developments in Egypt, preparations for the parliamentary elections and Egypt's economic conference, slated for March in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh.
The Bosnian speaker, on his part, praised the ties binding the two countries and thanked Egypt for backing his country over the past few years.
He also voiced deep interest in cooperating with the new Egyptian parliament, once elected, and said he is willing to visit Egypt after the elections to activate domains of bilateral cooperation.
