Egyptian diplomat underlines continuation of dialogue with Iran

Head of Egyptˈs Interests Section in Iran Khalid Amari underlined continuation of dialogue between the two countries, IRNA news agency reported Saturday.
He made the remarks on the sidelines of a meeting dubbed "Iran-Egypt and Future Outlook", organized by the Iranian Foreign Ministry and Egyptian Al-Ahram Institute in Tehran.
He underlined continuation of talks between the two countries to remove misunderstandings and said that there are more common points between Iran and Egypt than their points of difference, there is hope that cooperation between the two countries would expand in the future.
Amari said that holding such meetings would be an opportunity to remove differences and also expand relations.
Referring to Iran-Egypt stance on the fight against terrorism and Takfiri groups, Amari said that the most important common point between the two countries is their confrontation with Takfiri and terrorist groups.
Khalid Amari said that Daesh terrorist group, based on their wrong teachings are anathematizing Muslims and that Egypt by condemning all kind of terrorism is severely confronting such wrong teachings.
He expressed hope for resumption of mutual diplomatic ties and said that such meetings will shed light on points of differences between Iran and Egypt and find out solutions to existing mutual misunderstandings.
The meeting was held on Saturday at the Foreign Ministry political studies institute.
