Egyptian President Dr. Mohammad Morsy issued on Monday a pardon on all those who where jailed due to crimes committed in the period from January 20 and June 30, 2011, more precisely during the January 25 revolution. The decision by law comes to include all kind of crimes, including misdemeanors with the purpose of siding with the revolution goals and achieving the intended goals, however the decision did not include murder cases. The amnesty also included those who are still in trial in all various court orders. The law requires the Attorney General and the Military Prosecutor to publish a list of those who were pardoned effective since the date issue of the decision.
