Egyptian-Russian talks on joint cooperation kick off in Cairo

Egyptian-Russian sessions of talks on joint cooperation opened here on Tuesday.

In a speech to the meeting, Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab expressed hope that these meetings would have fruitful results.

In his speech, that was read out on his behalf by Minister of Transport Hany Dahy, Mahlab added that setting up a joint investment fund including the Abu Dhabi Fund, the Russian Investment Fund and Egyptian banks, constitutes a good starting point for financing mega projects.

He asserted that Egypt now enjoys political stability and the highest level of security since the hard time it has passed through since 2011.

Several economic and development projects are now taking place in Egypt in several domains including infrastructure, industry and agriculture.
