Tourism Minister Khaled Ramy met with the deputy of the Spanish foreign minister for talks on promoting Spanish tourism in Egypt.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) in the South Sinai city of Sharm El Sheikh on Sunday - the last day of the three-day event.
Egypt has to benefit from the Spanish expertise in tourism development and planning tourism cities, green tourism and online tourism, Ramy said.
Meanwhile, the Spanish official reiterated his country’s support for Egypt not only at the political and economic levels but also in its efforts to fight terrorism threatening the whole region and world.
The two officials also discussed ways to bolster tourism investment as the Egyptian tourism minister reviewed several projects floated by the ministry at EEDC, including the Gamasha Project (on the Red Sea).
