Egyptians waited in long lines to cast ballots in constitutional referendum

CNN reported Egyptians waiting in long lines to cast their ballots Tuesday in the constitutional referendum. It said Egyptians are heading to the polls Tuesday to vote on the draft constitution. But shortly before polls were set to open at 9 a.m. Tuesday, a bomb exploded near a Cairo courtroom. No one was injured, CNN quoted security officials as saying. Despite the attack, Egyptians waited in long lines to cast their ballots. The referendum, which will continue Wednesday, marks the second time in two years that Egyptians have voted on a new constitution.
