
The terrorist attack which targeted a police station in Mansoura City and led to the injury of 12 police personnel will not affect the Egyptian people's determination to build a better future, said an official here Wednesday. Media Advisor for the interim Egyptian Presidency Ahmed El-Meslimani said in a statement that the Egyptian people will overcome this terrorist act as they did before, adding that the people are always looking forward to the future. Egyptian security sources indicated that the blast occurred at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, affirming that an investigation was launched to determine who was responsible for the attack. On the reconciliation front, interim Egyptian President Adly Mansour will open the first national reconciliation and justice meeting later today. The meeting will include the participation of prominent figures including Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb and several political figures.
