Egypt's Ambassador in Moscow Mohamed el Badry on Thursday stressed Egypt's firm stance in support of the Palestinian people over the past six decades, according to a statement by the Foreign Ministry.
The ambassador was speaking in the international conference organized by the UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People that was held in Moscow.
Egypt backs Palestinian people's hope to set up a Palestinian State within borders of June 5, 1967 with Al Quds (Occupied East Jerusalem) as its capital, he said.
Egypt will continue exerting utmost efforts to serve the goals of the Palestinian cause in all ways, he stressed.
The conference was inaugurated earlier in the day by Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Arabi and Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al Malki.
