Egypt's Ambassador in London Nasser Kamel highlighted the need for international solidarity in combating the extremist terrorist group.
Interviewed by the BBC radio, Kamel said Libya, which is located just 300 kilometers from Italy coasts, is a hotbed for terrorists, a matter which poses a threat to the coming target of such terrorist group.
He cited remarks by Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi on Monday who asserted that the current situation in Libya is not only a source of concern for Italy alone, but it has become an international issue.
The Egyptian diplomat also called on the international community to tackle the situation in Libya because it has all the potentials for taking an action there.
