Egypt's awqaf minister meets number of bearded officers

Awqaf Minister Talaat Afifi met Friday with a number of bearded officers who protested outside the al-Azhar Mosque earlier in the day. Afifi hoped the case of the suspended officers would be further probed with the organizations concerned. The officers were pleased by the meeting and decided to end the protest outside the mosque and gather outside the Interior Ministry instead.
